Amrit Anand has joined boAt Lifestyle as Head of PR & Communications, marking a new chapter in his communications career after serving as Head of Corporate Communications at Zupee.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Anand talked about his decade-long journey in India's startup ecosystem. He wrote, "Ten years ago, I took a leap from the predictability of large global organizations (Walmart & Bank of America) into India's startup ecosystem by joining ReNew Power. Looking back, it remains one of the most rewarding decisions of my career."
Sharing insights from his professional journey, he shared that communications extends beyond visibility and plays a critical role in building stakeholder trust and credibility during challenging times. Over the past decade, Anand has worked with several prominent startups, including ReNew, Paytm and Zupee, building expertise across IPO communications, regulatory and policy issues, crisis management, category creation, leadership positioning and reputation management.
Announcing his new role, Anand said, "Today, I am excited to share that I have joined boAt Lifestyle as Head of PR & Communications. boAt has built one of India's most iconic consumer brands by combining innovation, design and a deep understanding of its consumers.
