DNA drives 10000 visitors to Wheelocity Auto Expo 2012

On May 12 and 13 2012, DNA achieved a landmark of sorts by having over 10,000 visitors over two days to enquire about sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, along with bikes, which were exhibited at the Wheelocity Auto Expo 2012. Brands such as Maruti, Toyota, Mahindra, Honda, Renault, Hyundai, Ford, Nissan, GM along with the likes of BMW, Land Rover, Volkswagen were on display. The vehicle display also had the likes of 1969 model of Ford Mustang, and two vintage cars including a Dodge 1954 and Avon SS 1933. The other show stoppers were BMW, Vardenchi and Hayabuza bikes.

This edition of DNA Wheelocity Auto Expo had pulled large audience. The concept of having cars from the every price level turned out to be a winner of an advantage, as there were interested buyers gathering information on their choice of brands.

In a prepared statement, Gautam Dalal, Vice President, Marketing - DNA said, “The ability of a newspaper to deliver over 10,000 footfalls is an absolute testament to the response generating power of DNA. The clients present have ensured that working with DNA was indeed a fruitful relationship. Going forward they have shown an urgency for us to commission the next one at the earliest.”

DNA had begun their campaign just over 15 days prior within the newspaper grabbing the attention of its 6 lakh readers to block their calendars.
