Delhi BJP president Virender Sachdeva has been elected as a member of the Executive Board of World Archery Asia (WAA) with the highest number of votes at the 2025 World Archery Asia Congress held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
“This honour is not mine alone, it reflects India’s growing strength in global sports governance, the hard work and excellence of our archers, the dedication of our coaches, and the transparency and integrity of our sports administration,” Virender Sachdeva said.
Five other Indian representatives have been elected to key committees of World Archery Asia.
“This responsibility inspires me to continue working with greater dedication to take Indian archery to new heights. Our young sporting talents are my true strength.”
