MAA Foundation, a Bengaluru-based non-profit organisation committed to advancing thought leadership and industry dialogue across advertising, business and entrepreneurship, will host the 44th edition of the Ayaz Peerbhoy Memorial Lecture on January 31, 2026, at Taj MG Road, Bengaluru. The lecture is being organised in partnership with The Advertising Club, Bangalore and Exchange4media.

Instituted in memory of Ayaz Peerbhoy, widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of Indian advertising, the annual memorial lecture has, over the decades, evolved into a respected platform for conversations around leadership, enterprise and nation-building.

The 2026 edition will feature Irfan Razack, Chairman and Managing Director of Prestige Group. In his address titled “From Clothes to Skyscrapers,” Razack will share insights from his entrepreneurial journey, tracing the evolution of Prestige Group from its early beginnings to shaping urban skylines across the country.

Speaking ahead of the event, Bunty Peerbhoy, from MAA Foundation and son of the late Ayaz Peerbhoy, in a statement said, “The Ayaz Peerbhoy Memorial Lecture was envisioned as a forum to inspire future generations through stories of courage, innovation and leadership. My father believed deeply in the power of ideas and enterprise to shape society. We are honoured to have Irfan Razack address this year’s lecture, as his journey reflects the very spirit this platform stands for.”

Over the years, the Ayaz Peerbhoy Memorial Lecture has hosted an eminent line-up of speakers, including P.C. Musthafa, Founder and CEO of iD Fresh Food; Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Founder and Executive Chairperson of Biocon; Jitu Virwani of Embassy Group; T.T. Jagannathan of TTK Prestige; and Chetan Maini, Founder of SUN Mobility, among others.

The Ayaz Peerbhoy Memorial Lecture continues to uphold its founding purpose of celebrating leadership that blends entrepreneurial excellence with long-term societal impact, while offering audiences first-hand perspectives from leaders who have helped shape modern India.
