Fraudsters using blogging platforms to post fake government jobs, warns AYUSH Ministry

The Ministry of AYUSH has warned against fraudsters on television and the internet, promising jobs in government agencies. These posters have been preying on unsuspecting job seekers, soliciting money in exchange for government jobs. In a statement released by the Ministry on Saturday, AYUSH added that the job posters have been using misleading names that sound similar to government agencies. It also added that they may use online payment methods to cheat people of their money.

They have also been using government insignia, other official images and addresses to lure people. The ministry added legitimate news of Government of India recruitments is formally announced on the official websites hosted on the NIC/gov platforms of the respective organisations. In contrast, some of these fraudulent agencies have been using free publishing domains such as Blogspot to put up their fake classifieds. One was made in the name of “Ayushgram Bharat”, a supposed NRHM wellness centre.

The Ministry also added that appropriate legal action will be taken against the perpetrators.
