The leading entertainment channel, Cartoon Network, is going to air an animation feature 'Barbie as Rapunzel' starting from 2nd November between 7pm-8.30 pm with repeat telecast on Sundays between 1pm-2.30 pm. The Indian toonheads can feast themselves to the enchanting and magical fairytale of Rapunzel. Starring the world famous doll, Barbie, the animation feature aims to spread the message that with courage and imagination, anything is possible.
The story is set in a time of magic and dragons centring on Rapunzel, a lovely and talented seventeen-year-old girl who has the most glorious, long hair the world had ever seen. The discovery of a small, dusty chest containing a child's silver hairbrush leads this fair and brave maiden on a journey of truth that unravels a web of deception, bringing peace to two warring kingdoms, and ultimately leading her to love.
As per the company, Cartoon Network has emerged as one of the most popular entertainment channels among kids and is currently seen in over 26 million cable homes in India. Drawing from the world's largest cartoon library of Warner Bros., MGM and Hanna-Barbera titles, the Network also showcases popular original animation series.
