Mindshare wins Maruti Suzuki's account worth Rs 1200 crore
After a highly competitive five-month-long pitch, the account moved from dentsu to Mindshare India

Maruti Suzuki on Thursday appointed Mindshare India as its new media agency. The news was confirmed to exchange4medina by Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director - Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India.
The account was earlier handled by dentsu India. The account size is believed to be around Rs 1200 crore. The mandate will cover tradional, outdoor and digital media.
Reposting e4m story on her on LinkedIn profile, Mindshare APAC CEO Helen McRae said, "Super proud of a world class team and honoured by the trust Maruti has placed with us. Looking forward to a truly stellar partership!"
The auto major called for the pitch in November 2022 to explore options and evaluate new strategies and technology-powered solutions media agencies can bring to the brand’s next phase of growth and journey. GroupM, OMG and dentsu, it is believed, made it to the final round.
In June 2022, Maruti Suzuki India added Lintas C:EX, a Mullen Lowe Lintas Group agency, to its creative roster. The auto major is now working with Hakuhodo India, dentsu Impact, and Lintas C:EX for developing creative solutions and advertising campaigns.
Earlier, speaking about the pitch, Srivastava said the company made this move not only to add creative freshness to the brand but also to focus on advertising other aspects of the company’s business. “We have realised that two agencies may not be sufficient to manage the current vastness of our business,” he had said.
Meanwhile, in a statement, dentsu India said, "We are proud of our six-year media relationship with Maruti Suzuki. We have enjoyed working with the team and what we have co-created together. We will continue to drive our partnership with them across Creative and Customer Experience. We thank them for their partnership and wish them success with their new media agency."

Mixed Route Juice has bagged the digital and social media mandate for Nutri Binge.
The account was won following a multi-agency pitch and will be serviced from the agency’s Gurgaon office and will take care of the entire Nutri Binge product portfolio. As per the mandate, the agency will focus on strengthening the brand’s presence in the health and wellness focused Foods & Beverage market.

Domino's calls for review of Rs 200 crore media account

Noida-based food service company Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, the Indian franchise of Domino’s, has called for a review of its integrated media duties account worth Rs 200 crore, exchange4media has learnt.
Sources say that all major agencies are believed to have participated in the pitch for the company’s pizza restaurant brand Domino's.
exchange4media reached out to Jubilant FoodWorks Limited and Havas for comments but did not receive any response until the filing of this story.
Jubilant FoodWorks Limited is an Indian food service company, which holds the master franchise for Domino’s Pizza in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Other brands owned by the company include Popeyes in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan; Dunkin’ Donuts in India. The company also has two restaurant brands – Ekdum! And Hong’s Kitchen. It’s part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group, which is owned by Shyan Sunder Bhartia and Hari Bhartia.
Outside the United States, India is currently the biggest market for Domino’s Pizza, which was first opened in New Delhi in 1996. The company also holds the distinction of being the first food service company in India to launch online and mobile ordering.

DistroTV partners with Cloud TV
The partnership will now enable millions of smart TV users with free 24/7 access to hundreds of Indian and International streaming channels

Consumer products giant Reckitt has awarded its integrated media mandate to Wavemaker. The development has been confirmed to exchange4media by highly placed sources. The account, which is said to be worth Rs 1600 crore, was earlier with dentsu. dentsu X had been handling the account since 2019.
The FMCG multinational has marquee brands like Dettol, Mortein, Strepsils, Harpic, among others, in its portfolio and has operations spanning more than 60 countries.
