The week gone by has witnessed interesting developments, including several people movements. There were several appointments, as we learnt that Hari Krishnan has been appointed as the CEO of Mullen Lintas, while BBC Global News - the BBC’s international commercial news, sport and features arm has appointed Rahul Sood as the new Managing Director for India and South Asia. Also, Rajesh Jejurikar joins Mahindra board as Executive Director amid top management successions, and Tata Global Beverages Ltd appointed Sunil Alaric D’Souza as Managing Director and CEO.

There were also top-level departures, including Ted Lim, Dentsu Aegis APAC Chief Creative Officer who has decided to step down. Also, Fox Star Studios CMO and Business Head, Shikha Kapur is reportedly leaving after 5 years with the company.

During the week, there were also several account-wins, as Creativeland Asia won the creative mandate of Aviva Life Insurance. Lowe Lintas was awarded the creative mandate for Coca-Cola's new offering, Rani Float, and 82.5 Communications bagged the advertising mandate for Haldiram's (North).

This week, Netflix also announced a three new original series in partnership with Viacom18's digital content arm Tipping Point, while Zee announced the launch of four new regional channels.
