- Paula Santilli, CEO of PepsiCo Latin America Foods, announced her retirement after a 35-year career, effective in 2026.
- She will remain with the company until July to assist in the transition to her successor, Athina Kanioura.
- Athina Kanioura, currently Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, will take over as CEO of Latin America Foods on December 28, 2025.
- Kanioura is expected to drive innovation in the division through digital solutions, AI, and new culinary initiatives.
Paula Santilli, CEO of PepsiCo Latin America Foods, has announced her retirement from the company after a 35-year career. She shared the news of her retirement through a LinkedIn post.
"Today I announced my retirement from PepsiCo after a 35-year career. 2026 will be my last year in this great company where I learned so much. Am I excited? Yes. Deeply. Grateful for the road traveled and motivated for what is to come. New cycles are opening", the LinkedIn post read.
Athina Kanioura has been appointed CEO of Latin America Foods, in addition to her role as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, effective December 28, 2025. She will succeed Paula Santilli, who will retire after a distinguished 35-year career at PepsiCo.
Paula will remain with the company through July to support Athina’s transition.
Athina has played a key role in shaping PepsiCo's strategy and leading our global capabilities transformation, and brings extensive experience in transformation and technology. Under her leadership, Latin America Foods will continue to innovate with digital-first solutions, leverage AI, and pilot new culinary initiatives that excite consumers.
