Suraj Singh, Co-Founder of Blive Productions & Music, is set to join Zee Studios, bringing more than two decades of experience across film and television production.

His proposed move follows changes in the studio’s senior ranks. Umesh Bansal stepped down from Zee Studios to take charge as Managing Director and CEO at B4U/IVY. Pragati Deshmukh, who was appointed Head of Content across verticals at Zee Studios in June 2024, has also moved on and is now a producer at Spellbound Labs.

The studio’s Hindi film team also includes Raedita Tandan, who became Co-Producer – Hindi Films in April 2026, after joining as Creative Producer in September 2025. Tandan previously worked with Junglee Pictures, Luv Films and Abundantia Entertainment, with experience spanning creative development, film and series production, marketing and communications. Before moving into the production business, she held editorial roles at entertainment publications, including Filmfare.

Singh’s career combines creative development with production management, budgeting and business acquisition. He co-founded Blive Productions & Music in January 2017, with his work encompassing scripting, casting, production planning, vendor negotiations and the management of shooting and post-production schedules.

Previously, he held senior positions at Balaji Telefilms, including Vice President and Vice President of Television Production & Operations. His responsibilities included overseeing production, working with broadcasters on budgets and creative requirements, and securing new programming mandates.

During his tenure at Balaji, he handled projects including The Dirty Picture, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, Ek Thi Daayan, Shootout at Wadala, Lootera, Ragini MMS 2 and Ek Villain.

His television experience includes working as a Creative Producer at Sphere Origins Multivision, where he handled storylines, screenplays, casting and coordination with broadcasters.

Singh also headed Free Zone Enterprises, a Balaji overseas project in Dubai. He helped establish its office and operations, overseeing budgets, business development and programming acquisitions.

He is the brother of Prerna Singh, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of Bhansali Productions.

Singh began his career at Balaji Telefilms in 2001, progressing through production and creative roles before taking on broader management responsibilities.
