New FE chief to be first woman editor of a financial daily
Mythili Bhusnurmath is quitting The Economic Times to join the Financial Express as Chief Editor. She will be the first woman to ever become the Editor of any of the four financial dailies in the country.

Mythili Bhusnurmath is quitting The Economic Times to join the Financial Express as Chief Editor. She will be the first woman to ever become the Editor of any of the four financial dailies in the country.
Confirming the development to exchange4media.com, Bhusnurmath said she has put in her papers at ET and will join FE shortly. For the past few years she has been the editor of the editorial page in ET. She will be filling the vacancy created with the departure of Dr Sanjaya Baru who has joined the PMO as the Press Advisor to the PM.
