PUMA has announced the appointment of Nadia Kokni as Vice President, Global Brand Marketing, effective January 1, 2026. She will succeed Richard Teyssier, who is stepping away from the company to explore new opportunities.
Nadia will join PUMA’s global leadership team and report to Chief Brand Officer Maria Valdes. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping PUMA’s global brand marketing strategy, guiding creative direction, and leading integrated marketing and communication efforts worldwide. Her appointment comes at a time when PUMA is pushing ahead with its global brand ambitions and sharpening the way it tells stories around its key products and innovations.
With strong international experience, Nadia has worked across sports, fashion, and lifestyle brands, helping build and transform global names. She has held senior roles at JD Sports, H&M, adidas, and Tommy Hilfiger, and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications at Hugo Boss, where she led major brand transformation and digital growth initiatives.
Commenting on the appointment, Maria Valdes, Chief Brand Officer at PUMA, said that Nadia is a highly accomplished marketing leader known for building strong, culturally relevant global brands. She added that Nadia’s arrival comes at a crucial time as PUMA brings product creation and storytelling closer together, and her leadership will help strengthen product narratives and deepen connections with consumers worldwide.
Nadia’s appointment also follows PUMA’s recent move to bring Brand Marketing, Product, Creative Direction, Innovation, and Go-To-Market under one global structure led by Maria Valdes.
