Ameya Velankar has stepped down from his role as Head of Marketing for India and South Asia at Uber, ending over seven-year stint with the company.
Velankar was a key part of Uber’s marketing leadership in the region, overseeing brand strategy, consumer engagement and growth initiatives across India and South Asia during a period of rapid evolution in the mobility space.
While his next move has not been officially confirmed, industry sources indicate that he is likely to join a new organisation soon.
