Sandeep Ghosh has resigned as Group Country Manager for India and South Asia at Visa after more than four years in the role, the company has said.
Media reports quoting a Visa spokesperson said the company has already identified Ghosh’s successor.
Ghosh has been with Visa since March 2022 and was leading the company’s operations across India and South Asia.
During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding Visa’s digital payments footprint in the region and strengthening partnerships with banks and fintech firms at a time when India’s digital payments ecosystem has been growing rapidly.
Further details on his successor are expected to be announced soon.
