Arjun Kalra joins Uber as Head of Marketing India South Asia

Arjun Kalra has joined Uber as Head of Marketing for India & South Asia.

In his role, he will oversee marketing strategy and activities across the region, focusing on brand positioning, consumer engagement, and growth initiatives. He will also be part of the APAC Marketing and India & South Asia (INSA) leadership teams.

Kalra shared the update on LinkedIn, stating: “Excited to share my new ride. Last month, I stepped into a new role leading Marketing for Uber in India & South Asia. Uber isn’t just an app – it’s how our cities move, every single day… chaotic, dynamic, unpredictable, and full of opportunity. I’ll be working with teams across India and globally to build one of the most trusted and loved mobility brands in the region.”

Kalra has experience in brand, digital, and growth marketing, having worked with a range of consumer and technology-focused organisations.

Previously, Kalra spent seven years at Apple. He has also held roles with AB InBev India & Southeast Asia, Yum! Brands, AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings, and TCS.
