Condé Nast has appointed Mrinalini Ghadiok as the new Head of Editorial Content for Architectural Digest India, effective January 12, 2026. Based in Mumbai, she will lead the brand’s editorial direction and content strategy across print, digital, and other platforms in India.

Speaking about the appointment, Amy Astley, Global Editorial Director of Architectural Digest, said Ghadiok brings a strong mix of architectural knowledge and editorial expertise. She added that Ghadiok’s understanding of India’s design industry, along with her global perspective, will help further strengthen AD India’s presence across platforms.

Ghadiok has more than 20 years of experience in architecture, publishing, and cultural communication. Earlier in her career, she served as editor of mondo*arc India and STIR, where she helped build a strong editorial identity for both publications.

In recent years, she has worked independently with architecture and design firms, institutions, and brands. Her work has included creating project publications, developing communication strategies, and curating public discussions around design and culture.

Apart from her editorial and consulting work, Ghadiok has also taught architecture at the university level and has been part of design juries in India and abroad. She continues to engage closely with emerging talent in the design space.

Commenting on her new role, Ghadiok said Architectural Digest holds an important place at the intersection of design and culture in India. She added that she looks forward to telling deeper and more meaningful design stories while contributing to the continued growth of AD India as a culturally relevant and globally connected platform.
