JSW One Platforms appoints Aparna Popat Ved & Prabhjeet Singh as independent directors

While Ved is a 2-time Olympian, and a 3-time Commonwealth Games medallist, Singh has extensive experience in strategy and management in businesses in India

JSW One Platforms has expanded its Board of Directors by appointing two Independent Directors: Aparna Popat Ved and Prabhjeet Singh.
Aparna Popat Ved is a two-time Olympian and has served on the boards of Eternal Limited and Hero FinCorp Limited, bringing expertise in performance culture and talent development.
Prabhjeet Singh has a background in strategy and management, having worked with McKinsey & Company and Uber India, and holds degrees from IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad.
The appointments aim to enhance the company's technology, distribution, and financial services capabilities as it enters a new phase of growth.

JSW One Platforms has announced the expansion of its Board of Directors with the appointment of two Independent Directors: Aparna Popat Ved, Olympian and Independent Director on the boards of Eternal Limited and Hero FinCorp Limited, and Prabhjeet Singh, who has previously been associated with McKinsey & Company, Inc. and with Uber Systems India Private Limited.

The appointments come at an important stage in JSW One Platforms’ growth as the company aims to scale its technology, distribution and financial services capabilities across India. The appointments also strengthen the Board’s breadth of expertise across technology, talent and governance.

Aparna Popat Ved is a two-time Olympian, and a three-time Commonwealth Games medallist. She received the Arjuna Award in 2005. She also holds an MBA and serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Eternal Limited (formerly Zomato Limited) and Hero FinCorp Limited. She has co-founded All Is Well of Meboki Technologies Private Limited and was an Executive Director of the Olympians Association of India. Her appointment brings a distinctive perspective on performance culture, resilience and talent development to the Board.

Prabhjeet Singh brings extensive experience in strategy and management in businesses in India. He holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and electrical communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and holds a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad Society. He has been awarded the ‘Young Alumni Achiever’ and the ‘Kollengode V. Srinivas Award for the Best PGP Allrounder’ from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also previously been associated with McKinsey & Company, Inc. and with Uber Systems India Private Limited.
