Taranjeet Singh has joined Ecosystm as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), marking a shift from over 25 years in established technology and media companies into what he describes as a more entrepreneurial, digital-native environment.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Singh said he would work on scaling Ecosystm’s commercial engine across the group while helping shape the company’s next phase of growth.
The appointment comes as Ecosystm expands beyond its traditional technology research and advisory business towards an AI-led intelligence and transformation model. The company has integrated the CoVentured AI Innovation Research Platform, which it acquired in 2024, with its existing market research capabilities.
Singh will also work on the integration of ClayboxAI, Ecosystm Group’s AI advisory and transformation business, into its broader client offering. Ecosystm has been deepening the commercial integration between its research and advisory operations and ClayboxAI, with the latter focused on areas including AI strategy, leadership fluency, solution design and enterprise implementation.
“My focus will be on building a high-impact digital native company, scaling the commercial engine across the group, and working with the team to also tightly integrate Claybox.AI, our AI transformation practice, from blueprint to deeply embedded client execution,” Singh said in his announcement.
He added that the company intends to use these capabilities to build a larger footprint across the Asia-Pacific region.
The move follows Singh’s departure from Google earlier this year after more than eight years with the technology major. Most recently, he served as Managing Director, Digital Natives, Asia Pacific, where his remit covered some of the region’s largest digital-first businesses.
Prior to Google, Singh spent nearly five years at Twitter, including as Business Head and Revenue Strategy Lead for India. His career has also included leadership roles at BBC Advertising, Outlook Publishing and other media and technology businesses.
In a recent conversation with exchange4media, Singh reflected on a career spanning the evolution of APAC’s digital and platform economy, from the early internet and digital advertising years to the emergence of social platforms, cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
His latest move places him on the other side of that transition, helping build and commercialise a business positioned around AI-led research, advisory and enterprise transformation.
