Senior media professional Sohan Singh Olk passed away Wednesday morning after suffering a heart attack, leaving the media fraternity in shock and mourning.
Olk was serving as Vice President of Ad Sales at Aaj Tak. Prior to this, he held the position of National Sales Head at Network18, managing sales for CNN-News18, CNBC-TV18, CNBC Awaaz, and other network channels.
With a career spanning over two decades, Olk made significant contributions across strategic sales, marketing, distribution, and business development in the media industry.
He also founded ManSim Ventures FZE and worked as Head of Sales at Red Door Productions, Dubai.
Throughout his illustrious career, Olk held leadership roles in reputed media organisations such as Worldwide Media Limited, NDTV, B4U, Vigyapan India Pvt Ltd, Multichannel India Ltd, and Magna Publishing.
His sudden demise is a great loss to the industry, and he will be remembered for his invaluable contributions and leadership.
