Aaj Tak's senior correspondent Banbir Singh has passed away in Ayodhya.
According to media reports, Banbir Singh passed away after a heart attack.
He came into the limelight while reporting on the terrorist attack on Ram Janmabhoomi in 2005.
He had also covered the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and the construction of the temple.
Banbir Singh was associated with Aaj Tak for nearly two decades.
