Shikha Thakur has joined Zee News as a senior anchor, marking the next step in her broadcasting career. She is expected to contribute to the channel’s editorial output, particularly in political and defence coverage.
Prior to this move, Thakur spent nearly three and a half years with Bharat24, where she served as a senior anchor. Before that, she had a long stint of over eight years with ABP News.
Thakur is known for her coverage of political affairs, as well as her understanding of defence-related issues. Over the years, she has reported on a range of national topics, offering analysis on complex developments.
Originally from Madhubani in Bihar’s Mithilanchal region, Thakur pursued her studies in journalism at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
