Nabila Jamal has quit TV9 Network’s News9 and is set to join CNN-News18 as Executive Editor and Anchor.
Highly placed sources have confirmed this development to e4m.
In her new role, Jamal will be hosting the prime-time show Brass Tacks at 7 PM on CNN-News18 which was earlier hosted by Zakka Jacob.
This will also mark another key transition in Jamal’s career, which includes a previous stint with the India Today Group, where she spent over five years before moving to News9 in 2025.
Her appointment comes amid heightened churn in the television news industry, with networks actively reworking talent and programming strategies to strengthen viewer engagement and credibility in a fragmented media landscape.
