TV18 has expanded the role of Yatendra Sharma, Political Editor at its Hindi news channel News18 India, by assigning him additional responsibilities. According to reliable sources, Sharma has been appointed Head of the Delhi reporting team and will also take on anchoring roles across both television and digital platforms.

In his new role, he will lead the planning and ideation of political coverage. He will also host two weekly political podcasts for the digital channel. Apart from this, Sharma will also lead the Delhi-based team of reporters, focusing on high-impact stories and breaking news.
Furthermore, he will be available as a guest on debate shows on the channel and will anchor a weekly morning bulletin. He will also assist in arranging guests for the channel and events/conclaves.
Yatendra Sharma has been with the network for nearly five years. He joined in February 2021. Before this, Sharma had a long stint at India News. Besides anchoring, Sharma is also known for his strong political knowledge.
