Gujarati Mid-day launches ‘Hot Property’ weekly supplement; signs up 23 advertisers
Gujarati Mid-day, Mumbai's Gujarati evening newspaper, has introduced a 16-page real estate broadsheet section, ‘Hot Property’, that goes out with the newspaper every Saturday. The supplement has already signed up 23 advertisers.
Gujarati Mid-day, Mumbai's Gujarati evening newspaper, has recently introduced a 16-page real estate broadsheet section, ‘Hot Property’, that goes out along with the newspaper every Saturday. This supplement was introduced towards the end of August 2008. According to an official statement, Mid-Day has already signed up 23 advertisers.
Manajit Ghoshal, CEO, Mid-day Infomedia, said, “Our research indicated a significant demand for a dedicated real estate section among Gujarati readers. We found many builders also keen to reach the cash rich Gujarati community and investors through such a resource. We are delighted to be the first to provide a dedicated section for this purpose.”
The section deals with a variety of issues related to real estate including deals on new houses, tips for decorating interiors, vaastu as well as practical advice on home financing and more. It also plans to cover information related to residential and commercial property market of not only Mumbai but neighbouring regions like Gujarat, Pune, Nashik, etc. There are sections like ‘New Projects’, ‘Area Watch’ and a ‘Knowledge Series’ on real estate terminology like FSI, TDR, EMI, etc.
The statement says the weekly supplement also promises to advise people on realty rates across the city, realty news, and property related questions and answers by a renowned advocate.
The company says that the “broadsheet format was determined by feedback from readers and advertisers on aspects that support better display of property photographs, information and advertisements and therefore creates even greater reader engagement”.
Gujarati Mid-day has a circulation of 75,000 copies in Mumbai.
