News anchor Palki Sharma has sparked speculation about a possible new venture after sharing a post titled “India Global Review (IGR)” on the social media platform X.
It is unclear whether 'India Global Review' will be part of an existing media network or an independent digital platform.
The post comes shortly after Sharma’s departure from Network18, where she served as Managing Editor for over three years. During her time there, she hosted the show “Vantage” on Firstpost and CNN-News18.
Before joining Network18, Sharma worked with WION, where she anchored the programme “Gravitas”. Over the course of her career, she has also been associated with organisations including ITV Network, Doordarshan News, and the Hindustan Times.
No official announcement has yet been made regarding the nature, format, or launch timeline of the India Global Review project.
