Arpita Arya to quit AajTak, likely to rejoin Network18

Television journalist Arpita has resigned from the India Today Group. Arpita had been associated with the organisation since August 2021 and was working as an anchor with its Hindi news channel AajTak. She is currently serving her notice period, according to sources.

It is also indicated that Arpita may rejoin Network18 and is expected to host a 5 pm show. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this move so far.

Before joining AajTak, Arpita worked with News18 India for around six years. During her time there, she hosted several programmes, including Mudda Garam Hai, Khabar Pakki Hai, Sau Baat Ki Ek Baat and Hum To Puchenge.

Arpita has over a decade of experience in the media industry. She began her career with KTV in Kanpur and has also worked with channels such as APN and News Express.
