India Brand Conclave 2018: Brand experts join to speak on marketing effectiveness

Experts from Cars24, Volkswagen, IPG Mediabrands, Zee Media, Philips, GSK Consumer Healthcare, GE, MediaKeys India among others will deliver talks at Leela Ambience, Gurugram tomorrow

The fifth edition of the exchange4media Indian Marketing Awards will be held tomorrow at Leela Ambience, Gurugram. The awards recognise the fact that marketing is critical for organic growth of a business and its central role in creating, communicating, capturing and sustaining value for an organisation.

The event also hosts an all-day conference, India Brand Conclave 2018, the theme for the conference this year will focus on ‘Driving Business Growth through Marketing Effectiveness’, where industry veterans will share their game-changing branding and marketing stories.

The India Brand Conclave 2018 conference will begin with a speaker session by Vikram Chopra, Co-Founder & CEO, CARS24. Chopra’s topic of discussion will be on 'How is CARS24 disrupting India's used car sector'; this will be followed by a Fireside Chat with Partha Sinha, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, McCann Worldgroup. The next speaker on dais will be Rajiv Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Zee Media delivering a Fireside Chat. 

The conference will then hold a Panel Discussion on the topic ‘How can marketing drive the personalization game @ scale?’ which will be chaired by Avik Chattopadhyay, Co-founder & Partner, Expereal. The panellists include Amit Sethiya, Head Marketing, Syska Group; Ayushman Chiranewala, Head Marketing, Fastrack; B Krishna Rao, Sr. Category Head, Parle Products; Gulbahar Taurani, Director Marketing & Business Head, Philips India; Srinivas Rao, Sr. VP - Marketing, Lifestyle International.

A Special Address will be delivered by Oliver Mirza, MD & CEO, Dr. Oetker India on the topic of 'Category Management: Building a New Category'. This will be followed by another Panel Discussion on the topic ‘Changing landscape of marketing: Are we ready to take the big leap?’ Or on ‘Marketing in the realm of complex consumers, multi platform & multi screen world; how to make it effective?’ The session will be chaired Vikas Mehta, CEO, Point 9 Lintas and will include panellists such as Anika Agarwal, Sr. VP and Head-Marketing, Digital & Direct Sales, Max Bupa Health Insurance; Dinesh Arora, Digital Head, Angel Broking; Prashant Verma, VP Marketing, Grofers; Priyadarshi Banerjee, National Revenue Head, Digital & Marketing Head, International Brands, WorldWide Media; and Trupti Bhandari, Global Lead – Base Horlicks and Boost, GSK Consumer Healthcare.

The conference approaches towards an interactive speaker session with Bishwajeet Samal, Head Marketing of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, who will speak on the topic 'Finding the right balance between short term activation and long-term brand building in the complex market environment?' This will be followed by another speaker session by Shashi Sinha, CEO, IPG Mediabrands. 

Rachna Panda, Chief Communication Officer, GE South Asia along with Ruhail Amin, Editorial Lead, exchange4media group will be seen a Fireside Chat discussing 'Marketing Effectiveness: How B2B Brands Look at it'. Another session of Fireside Chat with Yashish Dahiya, CEO & Co-Founder, Group of Companies and Satyabrata Das, COO, MediaKeys India will see them discuss 'Best practices to make the most of customer insights in the era of fast evolving media and technology landscape.' 
The conference will conclude with a session on ‘Brand Building via Sports’ along with Anita Nayyar, Group CEO India & South Asia, Havas Media Group and Sai Narayan, Associate Director & Head Marketing, & Paisabazaar; and a valedictory address will be given by Amit Jain, MD, L'Oreal India on the topic 'Driving Business Growth through Marketing Effectiveness'.
