Hemal Thakkar, Producer at Playtime Creation, shared his experience at the e4m Play Streaming Media Awards, describing it as an enriching and insightful gathering.

"I had a wonderful time, and it was one of my first experiences. This has been a very pleasant one. I met some very interesting people here, and the discussions were very insightful. It felt wonderful having so many great minds coming together," he said.

Thakkar highlighted the evolving landscape of content consumption, particularly with the rise of regional language productions. He noted that events like these serve as eye-openers, showcasing the vast amount of content being created across different languages.

"We all feel that we watch so much content, but when you come here, you realise that there is so much more to watch. There is so much more being made in different languages, and this is one of the most defining times. Things are changing slowly, with regional content expanding and many more interesting people coming on board to create wonderful stories," he added.

Emphasising the importance of wider participation in content creation, Thakkar pointed out that the more engagement there is, the greater the identity and reach of the content.

"A lot of times, people are unaware of certain content, but platforms like these help in creating better reach, better mileage, and better identity for both the content and the platforms it is hosted on. That is very, very important," he concluded.
