Dish TV India Limited has announced a significant internal governance change, authorising select Key Managerial Personnel (KMPs) to determine the materiality of corporate events and ensure timely disclosure to stock exchanges, in line with regulatory requirements.

The arrangement, effective from 1 June 2026, follows a board decision taken on 26 May 2026 and communicated to both the BSE and the NSE on 1 June 2026.

As part of the update, the company confirmed the appointment of Balveer Singh as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, with effect from 1 June 2026. He will also be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and disclosures under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) framework.

Under the revised structure, the company has empowered designated senior officials to assess whether any corporate event or information is “material” and must therefore be disclosed to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30(5) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The authorised officials include:

  • Manoj Dobhal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  • Amit Kumar Verma, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Balveer Singh, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer

These executives will now jointly evaluate material developments and ensure disclosures are made in accordance with SEBI norms. The company stated that the move is intended to strengthen its disclosure governance and streamline decision-making on regulatory communications.
