Nickelodeon spreads festive cheer this New Year

To ring in the New Year, Nickelodeon, India’s leading kid’s entertainment franchise, has come up with an extensive line-up up of shows, activities, and engagements.

Speaking about the scale of engagement planned by the franchise in the run-up to Christmas and New Year, Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Business Head - Kids Entertainment at Viacom18, said, “Christmas cheer and Holidays are back making it a special time for kids to immerse into our fascinating world of toons. Nickelodeon has planned a plethora of fun and engaging activities, initiatives, and shows that will keep kids entertained this festive season. Here’s wishing all our partners and viewers Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year.”

Some of the initiatives being brought by Nickelodeon include:

Dora & Friends on Nick HD+: Dora and Friends on Nick HD+ will set the prelude to the festive season. The show debuted on Nick HD+ on December 12, 2016.

Motu Patlu – The Invisible Plane: The duo Motu Patlu will be seen in their Icelandic escapade “Motu Patlu – The Invisible Plane”. In this, a world-famous invisible plane has been hijacked from Furfurinagar’s air show and it’s nowhere to be found. Motu Patlu and their gang set out towards an Icelandic region in search of the missing plane. The expedition with the twosome is set to premiere this Christmas (December 25) at 11.30 am on Nickelodeon.

Santa will also be making a pit stop on Nickelodeon!

The ‘Lift your Gift’ will require kids to wish for the gift they see amongst the several options flashed on screen, and Motu Patlu will make their wish come true.

Nickelodeon Sunday Brunch: The Nickelodeon-themed brunch will start on December 25 (and every Sunday thereafter for the next 3 months) at Courtyard Marriott Mumbai. Children can experience the world of Nicktoons with food such as Motu Patlu Samosas and Dora’s favorite Spanish spread and much more at the exclusive brunch.
