Apollo Hospitals Chennai has created a Stroke Awareness Corridor in Chetpet, unifying five major hoardings from different outdoor agencies into one powerful message on rapid stroke care.

Set along a high-traffic stretch, the corridor guides commuters through a clear sequential narrative that highlights Apollo Hospitals' advanced stroke capabilities.

This initiative complements the hospital’s citywide outreach efforts through integrated marketing and PR, including social media campaigns, press interactions on the stroke network, patient recovery stories, stroke conclaves and digital out-of-home media across the city. These efforts continue to advance prevention, public education and timely access to care so that no stroke case is delayed or overlooked.

Globally, nearly 13 million people suffer a stroke each year, and in Chennai alone, around 10,000 cases are reported annually. With one in four individuals above the age of 25 now at risk and cases increasingly seen among younger populations, the need for widespread awareness, preparedness and timely medical response has never been more urgent. The initiative arrives at a crucial moment to support early detection and time-sensitive intervention that can change patient outcomes.
