In a bold strategic move to further strengthen its grip on viewers, leading Hindi news channel AajTak has revamped its prime-time programming lineup following the exit of senior journalist and prominent anchor Sudhir Chaudhary. This revamp signals more than just a reshuffling of faces—it's a clear part of a larger editorial vision under the leadership of News Director Supriya Prasad.

As part of the new prime-time slate, popular anchor Neha Batham will take over Shankhnaad at 7 PM, covering the day’s biggest political developments. At 8 PM, Shweta Singh will host Khabardar, a staple of AajTak’s news programming. One of the most talked-about changes comes at 9 PM, where Black & White—a high-TRP show once hosted by Sudhir Chaudhary—will now be led by celebrated journalist Anjana Om Kashyap. Meanwhile, at 10 PM, seasoned anchor Sayeed Ansari will host 10Tak.

AajTak recently released a high-octane promo for Black & White, describing it as “a show the world has never seen before,” signaling a fresh and ambitious approach to prime-time journalism.

Supriya Prasad, regarded as a TRP mastermind in Indian broadcast media, is widely credited for shaping AajTak’s dominance in the Hindi news space. With his deep editorial insight and leadership acumen, the channel is now aiming not just to fill the void left by Sudhir Chaudhary, but to take viewership to new heights.

On the other hand, Sudhir Chaudhary’s next venture is also generating buzz. As previously reported by exchange4Media, he has signed a mega project with Prasar Bharati, which is being touted as one of the biggest deals in Indian media history. More than just a familiar face, he is expected to play a decisive role in shaping the new platform. In a recent post on social media platform X, Chaudhary confirmed that he will soon make a powerful comeback with a brand-new show.

With this reshuffle and renewed programming energy, AajTak is gearing up to redefine Hindi prime-time news—one anchor at a time.
