Google India reported an 11.3 percent year-on-year increase in gross advertising revenue to ₹34,742 crore for the financial year ended March 2025 (FY25), compared with ₹31,221 crore in FY24.
However, net advertising revenue declined 2 percent to ₹2,694.4 crore in FY25 from ₹2,743.4 crore a year earlier, according to the company’s latest filing with the Registrar of Companies, accessed via business intelligence platform Tofler.
The dip in net ad revenue was driven by higher payouts to Google Asia Pacific for the purchase of advertising space. These costs rose 12.6 percent year-on-year to ₹32,047.6 crore in FY25, up from ₹28,477.8 crore in FY24.
Meanwhile, revenue from enterprise products showed strong growth. Gross sales from enterprise offerings increased 32.4 percent to ₹2,054.9 crore in FY25, compared with ₹1,551.9 crore in the previous year. Payments to Google Asia Pacific for enterprise-related services also rose 33.8 percent year-on-year to ₹1,868.4 crore.
Google India's revenue from operations saw a rare 3 percent decline to Rs 5,340.1 crore, down from Rs 5,518.1 crore the previous year. This dip was driven by lower sales from advertising space and enterprise products, partially offset by an increase in other income.
As a result, net sales from enterprise products stood at ₹186.5 crore in FY25, marking a 20 percent increase from ₹155.4 crore in FY24.
