Havells cuts ad spends 13% YoY to Rs 155 crore in Q3 FY26

Havells’ total income for the quarter stood at Rs 5,630 crore, up from Rs 4,865 crore in Q2 FY26 and Rs 4,953 crore a year earlier

Havells India spent Rs 155 crore on advertising and sales promotion in Q3 FY26, up 17.6% quarter-on-quarter from Rs 131.78 crore in Q2 FY26, but down 13.2% year-on-year from Rs 178.61 crore in the December quarter of FY25, according to its unaudited consolidated financial results.

Revenue from operations rose 16.9% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 5,587.89 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 4,779.33 crore in the September quarter. On a year-on-year basis, revenue increased 14.3% from Rs 4,888.98 crore in Q3 FY25.

Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 5,630.59 crore, compared with Rs 4,865.59 crore in Q2 FY26 and Rs 4,953.31 crore in the year-ago period.

Profit after tax came in at Rs 300.05 crore in Q3 FY26, down 5.7% sequentially from Rs 318.28 crore in the preceding quarter, while rising 8.0% from Rs 277.96 crore reported in Q3 FY25.

Profit before tax declined marginally on a sequential basis to Rs 407.62 crore from Rs 414.59 crore in Q2 FY26, but was higher than Rs 377.34 crore posted in the December quarter last year.

Total expenses increased to Rs 5,189.33 crore in Q3 FY26, up from Rs 4,455.82 crore in Q2 FY26 and Rs 4,575.97 crore in Q3 FY25. Raw material and component costs stood at Rs 3,098.37 crore, compared with Rs 2,686.72 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 2,957.53 crore a year ago.
