  • The company launched four new AI-driven products and expanded its operations in the US, Middle East, and APAC, positioning itself as an AI-enabled technology provider for media companies.

Amagi Media Labs reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹476 crore in Q2FY27, up 27% year-on-year, as the cloud-native media technology company continued to scale across global broadcast, streaming and FAST ecosystems. Adjusted EBITDA rose 114% to ₹89 crore, with margin expanding 7.6 percentage points to 18.7%.

Profit after tax increased nearly 30-fold to ₹75 crore, with PAT margin improving 14.3 percentage points to 14.9%.

For the first half of FY27, revenue grew 29.5% to ₹913 crore, while adjusted EBITDA increased 139% to ₹139 crore. PAT rose nearly 17-fold to ₹109 crore. Adjusted operating cash flow reached ₹94 crore, compared with an outflow of ₹98 crore in H1FY26, while the company reported cash and treasury holdings of ₹1,774 crore and no debt.

The quarter also saw Amagi deepen its AI push. The company launched four products: Amagi STUDIO, FANPULSE, Integrated Localization and Agentic NOC, as it builds out what it calls its Media Industry Cloud.

Its NEWSPULSE product also moved into live operations at local stations belonging to a major US broadcast group, while Amagi expanded engagements with media networks across the US, Middle East and APAC.

CEO Baskar Subramanian said the company sees three major opportunities ahead: helping customers operate more efficiently, reach new audiences and maximise revenues from their content, with AI expected to play a role across all three.

Amagi provides cloud-based technology that allows media companies to launch, manage, distribute and monetise live, linear and on-demand content across cable, OTT and FAST platforms without relying on traditional broadcast infrastructure.

For the media and advertising industry, the quarter is notable not just for Amagi’s profitability but for the way AI is being embedded directly into broadcast operations, localisation, audience engagement and monetisation workflows. That positions the company less as a conventional streaming infrastructure vendor and increasingly as an AI-enabled operating layer for global media companies.
