From viral clips that filled our feed to trends that spilled offline. 2025 had it all. What went viral, wasn’t always the loudest or the most shocking – it was something that was instantly recognizable and relatable that one could not help but laugh and share.

As the year unfolded, it became clear that virality was no longer ties to one platform or format. It travelled fluidly across short videos, memes, screenshots. As these moments travelled online, they evolved into adaptable trend rather than a fixed joke, as people used the viral meme and tied it to their niche which led to the domino effect of same-same but different.

Language quirks, regional humour and cultural contrast were remixed turning small observation into a widely shared moment. Instead of dividing audience, it created a sense of collective amusement allowing people to laugh at differences while recognising shared experience.

Let’s have a look at everything that went viral and set-off trends that spilled offline.
