In a digital – first world, print advertising found a steady footing in 2025. Brands across categories used newspapers to experiment with format and visual story-telling, proving that print still has room for innovation when used thoughtfully.

According to previous exchange4media articles, print attracted a broad advertiser base, with over 1.16 lakh advertisers active across January–September 2024 and 2025. More than 1.44 lakh brands were present during January–September 2025 alone, with cars taking the primary spot followed by retail jewellers. FMGC product ranges also recorded the highest percentage growth among Top 10 categories.

What distinguished the most unique print ads this year, was a shift in how the medium itself was treated. For example, Mercedes Benz, used it to showcase the first-person perspective of driving their car. Print in 2025, felt less like a repetitive format, more like an interactive experience, delivered right at your doorstep.
