Marico calls for creative pitch for new beauty & wellness brand

Additionally, the brand is looking for an influencer marketing agency

FMCG giant Marico has invited pitches from creative agencies and influencer marketing agencies for their new beauty and wellness brand.

Ishita Desai, Marico’s Brand Manager posted on LinkedIn that they are looking for a creative agency with previous experience working with beauty or wellness brands.

The key tasks for the agency will include social media management and content creation to build a strong digital presence.

“The ideal agency should be able to develop visually compelling campaigns and content that resonate with our target audience,” Desai said in a post.

Additionally, the brand is seeking an influencer agency with proven experience executing successful influencer campaigns in the USA market.

“The agency should have a strong network of relevant beauty influencers, experience managing influencer partnerships, and a track record of driving engagement and conversions,” Desai wrote.

Multiple agencies like Shobiz (a part of Havas Group), Cresco, Wit and Chai, and independent consultants have already shown interest in applying for the opportunity.

Marico Ltd had recently released its financial results for the quarter ended 31 December, 2024 and recorded its revenue from operations at Rs 2794 crore, marking a 4.8% QoQ increase corresponding to the quarter ended 30 September 2024.

The advertising and sales promotion expense for the quarter marginally increased by 1% from Rs 290 crore in Q2 FY25 to Rs 293 crore in Q3 FY25. The same figure stood at Rs 246 crore in Q3 of the preceding fiscal, marking a 19% jump.

The international revenue for the conglomerate stood at Rs 693 crore which increased by a slight 1.16%.
