Ad volumes for the biggest advertiser and brands have seen a jump in ad volumes for Week 26 - 8.66% and 7.58% respectively – as per data released by BARC.

In the advertisers’ category, Hindustan Unilever continued to be the biggest advertiser with 317861 insertions as compared to 292536 insertions in week 25, followed by Reckitt Benckiser which ranked second with 78007 insertions.

Brooke Bond Lipton India has bagged the third spot this week with 47425 insertions followed by Godrej Consumer Products at fourth with 45498 insertions. ITC comes fifth with 39209 insertions.

On the sixth spot is Wipro with 24700 insertions, followed by Ponds India on the seventh (23382 insertions). Amazon Online India stood eighth with 22284 insertions and Lakme Lever is at the ninth spot with 19452 insertions. Procter & Gamble Home Products has grabbed the tenth spot this week with 19182 insertions.

In the brands category, Lux Toilet Soap continued to lead the list with 24498 insertions as compared to 22772 insertions in week 25, followed by Horlicks on the second position with 16423 insertions and Wheel Active 2 in 1 on third with 13877 insertions. Amazon.in bagged fourth spot with 13768 insertions and Surf Excel Easy Wash grabbed the fifth place with 13173 insertions.
Lifebuoy Toilet Soaps, Close Up Ever Fresh and Policybazzar.com with 12814 insertions, 12574 insertions and 12004 insertions bagged the sixth, seventh and eighth positions respectively. Pears and Sunsilk Black Shine stood at ninth and tenth spots with 10840 insertions and 10633 insertions respectively.

However, in week 26, there was a drop of 4.05% in the total number of insertions for advertisers whereas for brands it was down 6.1%. While the total insertions for top ten advertisers stands at 637,000 as compared to 663 862 insertions in week 25, insertions for brands was at 140,604 compared to 149,741 insertions in the previous week.
