JioHotstar has elevated Sameer Tripathy to the position of Director (LCS). Tripathy announced the promotion in a LinkedIn post.
In this role, he will lead several high-growth consumer categories, including e-commerce, quick commerce, jewellery and lifestyle. “These sectors are at the forefront of India's consumer evolution, and I'm looking forward to partnering with brands to create impactful growth stories through the power of streaming and digital innovation,” Tripathy said.
Prior to this elevation, Tripathy served as Associate Director at JioHotstar. Before joining JioHotstar, he spent more than two years at Viacom18 Media Private Limited.
Earlier in his career, he held roles at MX Player, The Viral Fever (TVF), ABP News and Eenadu Publication Pvt. Ltd.
