Sameer Singh named Managing Director & Additional Director of HT Media

Hindustan Media Ventures (HMVL) has said its board has approved the appointment of Sameer Singh as Additional Director and Managing Director of HT Media Limited for a five-year term, effective March 1, 2026. The information has been shared in a BSE filing.
The appointment is subject to shareholder approval. He will also be designated as a Key Managerial Personnel of the company.
Singh was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Media Ventures and Group Chief Executive Officer of HT Media Limited with effect from March 1, 2025. He will now assume the role of Managing Director from March 1, 2026, for a period of five years.
An alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Singh brings over three decades of leadership experience. Prior to joining the company, he served as Head of North America Global Business Solutions at TikTok and ByteDance, where he led advertising and sales teams across North America. Before that, he was responsible for leading the Asia Pacific region in a similar capacity.
