Rahul Thappa, Managing Director – Media and CXM at dentsu, has announced his departure from the network following a short stint at dentsu Singapore.
In a LinkedIn post, Thappa said he is returning to Gurgaon, India, after what he described as a meaningful but brief period with the company. He said the decision to move on was driven by a combination of personal and professional goals, and expressed interest in continuing his career within the media ecosystem, particularly in technology and solutions-focused roles.
He joined dentsu over a year ago. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director at Naviga for more than three years. His earlier career includes senior roles at FOX Networks Group Asia, Astro and Mindshare, among others.
With over two decades of experience in the media and advertising industry, Thappa has worked across digital transformation, customer analytics, adtech and martech, and workflow automation.
