Flash Sports & Media Holdings has appointed former BCCI CEO Rahul Johri to its Board of Directors.
Johri was earlier BCCI's Chief Executive Officer.
As per reports, Flash Sports & Media wants to utilise Johri's expertise in media rights monetisation, commercial strategy and relationships across the global cricket ecosystem.
Johri brings nearly 35 years of experience across the media and sports industries.
Most recently, he served as President – Business at Zee Entertainment Enterprises, where he oversaw revenue across the company's television network and streaming platform Zee5, and led the launch of the UAE-based ILT20 cricket league.
Earlier, he headed Discovery Networks South & Southeast Asia, where he launched 11 channels and expanded regional-language programming. He currently leads Citadel Advisory, a media and sports advisory firm operating across India and the UAE.
