Omnicom Media has appointed Anthony Palathingal, a former WPP Media executive, as General Manager. The news has been shared by Palathingal in a LinkedIn post.
“After an incredible 8-year journey with WPP Media, it’s time to turn the page and begin a new chapter. Across two stints—first with Maxus/Wavemaker and then with Matrix—these years have been deeply enriching, both professionally and personally. I’ve had the privilege of working with some exceptional colleagues, inspiring leaders, and mentors who have shaped my thinking, challenged me to grow, and supported me along the way. Grateful for the trust, opportunities, and friendships that made this journey so meaningful. As I move on, I’m excited to be joining Omnicom Media. Palathingal will be based out of Mumbai.
Before joining Omnicom, Palathingal was Business Director at WPP Media. Earlier, he was with Wavemaker as Associate Investment Director.
In the past he had been associated with Bharti Airtel.
