- Dutta brings over 18 years of experience in sales, distribution, and market development from various FMCG organizations, having joined pladis in 2022 as Sales Director for India.
- Outgoing Country General Manager Ritesh Gauba emphasized the importance of the foundational work done during his tenure and expressed confidence in the team's future success.
- Suryakant Pandey, Managing Director for the MENAI region at pladis, highlighted India's significance as a key market and the need for focused leadership to drive business growth.
pladis has appointed Mohit Dutta as Country General Manager for India.
Mohit Dutta has over 18 years of experience in leading sales, distribution, and market development at FMCG organisations.
He joined pladies in 2022 as Sales Director - India.
Prior to this, Dutta was for nearly a decade with Mars, across trade marketing and sales, and earlier with Hindustan Unilever and Shell.
“The priority now is to accelerate growth through sharper execution, while continuing to expand our reach and build a business that stays closely aligned with evolving consumer demand,” said Mohit Dutta.
Reflecting on his tenure, Ritesh Gauba, outgoing Country General Manager - India for pladis, said, “The past few years have been about putting the right building blocks in place, strengthening the business, sharpening our market approach, and building a team that can take this forward.
