Britannia Industries has named Rakshit Hargave as its new Chief Executive Officer and additional Whole-time Director, according to a BSE filing by the company.
Hargave’s appointment will begin on December 15, 2025, for a term of five years, pending approval from the shareholders.
Prior to this role, he served as CEO of Birla Opus, the paints business of the Aditya Birla Group. Hargave has resigned from Birla Opus and will formally leave the company on December 5.
He joined Birla Opus in November 2021.
In the past, Hargave has also worked with Hindustan Unilever, Kimberly-Clark Lever, Lakme Lever, and Jubilant FoodWorks.
