Retired IAS officer Amit Khare has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Chief Executive Officer of Sansad TV, while continuing in his role as Secretary to the Vice President of India. He was appointed Secretary to the newly elected Vice President, C. P. Radhakrishnan, in September.
“The Governing Council of Sansad TV has decided that Shri Amit Khare, IAS (Retd.), presently holding the post of Secretary to Hon'ble Vice President of India, shall discharge the functions of CEO, Sansad TV, in addition to his existing responsibilities, with immediate effect and until further orders,” reads the notice issued by Sansad TV.
Khare will assume charge from Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh, whose extended tenure concludes next month.
