Frank P Thomas has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Asianet News Network Private Limited.
In his new role, Thomas will oversee the operations of multiple media properties, including Asianet News, Suvarna News, and Kannada Prabha.
Thomas, who previously served as the Business Head and Director of Asianet News Network, brings extensive media management experience to his expanded role. The appointment puts him at the helm of Asianet News Network’s diverse portfolio spanning television news channels and print media across multiple languages.
Under the Asianet News Network umbrella, Thomas will lead Asianet News, a major Malayalam news channel, Suvarna News, a Kannada news channel and Kannada Prabha, a prominent Kannada newspaper. His leadership is expected to strengthen the network’s position in India, especially in the South Indian markets.
