Senior television journalist Amish Devgan is leaving Network18 after nearly a decade, where he served as Managing Editor and anchored the flagship debate program, Aar Paar.
Devgan joined Network18 in June 2016 and has been influential in shaping the channel's prime-time identity, covering major elections and interviewing prominent political figures.
Prior to Network18, he had a lengthy career at Zee Media, starting at Hindustan Times and later holding senior editorial roles at Zee News and Zee Business.

Devgan, one of the network’s most celebrated and recognisable editorial faces, has been associated with the media conglomerate for nearly a decade. Details regarding his next professional move could not be immediately ascertained.

At Network18, Devgan currently serves as Managing Editor at News18 India and anchors the channel’s flagship debate programme, Aar Paar. Known for his high-energy presentation and assertive interviewing style, he has played a prominent role in shaping the channel’s prime-time identity.

Devgan joined Network18 in June 2016 as Executive Editor of the then IBN7, which was subsequently rebranded as News18 India. His arrival came at a time when the network was strengthening its Hindi news operations and sharpening its prime-time programming.

Soon after joining, he became the face of Aar Paar, a debate-led programme that emerged as one of News18 India’s key prime-time properties. Over the years, he has led the channel’s coverage of major elections, political developments and national events, while interviewing several senior political leaders and public figures.

Before joining Network18, Devgan had a long association with Zee Media. He began his journalism career with the Hindustan Times before moving to Zee News in 2002. In 2005, he joined Zee Business, where he went on to hold senior editorial responsibilities, including serving as Editor and Editor-in-Chief.
