Gaurav Dewani, who recently stepped down from his role as Revenue Head at NDTV, is likely to join the Times Group in a senior leadership position, according to industry sources. Dewani is also considering entrepreneurial options, and whether he joins a media company or consults with it or turns a full-time entrepreneur only time will tell.

Dewani joined NDTV in December 2023 as Head of the Content Business, where he was tasked with driving monetisation across television, digital and on-ground IPs within the network’s general and business news portfolio. In this capacity, he worked closely with advertisers to build integrated branded content solutions and revenue-led programming across flagship properties.

A seasoned media executive with over two decades of experience, Dewani has previously held leadership roles across major media organisations. Before joining NDTV, he was Senior Vice President and National Head – Branded Content at Times Network, where he led monetisation strategies across television and digital IPs. He has also worked with Zee Entertainment Enterprises, CA-Media (The Chernin Group), The Walt Disney Company, Network18 and Hindustan Times.
